Style For Humanity Launches With an Unprecedented Commitment To Charity
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, September 16, 2015 -- Style for Humanity (SFH), a charity fashion company that puts people first, launches its first Spring / Summer collection on Kickstarter on September 16, 2015.
In an unprecedented step forward, SFH has committed 20% of its profits to carefully curated charities that hold similar values. SFH formed corporate partnerships with three charities, Room to Read, Thrive Networks, and K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers. All three are committed to working with local governments and community leaders to help disadvantaged communities move forward. Collectively, these charities accrued $68+ million in donations in 2014 alone.
When asked, “Why donate to charities?” Co-Founder Raymond Fong, said, “The genesis of SFH didn’t start with the question, ‘How do we create the best clothing line?’ Instead, it started with the question, ‘How do we collectively make the greatest positive impact on the world?’”
SFH was founded on the concept of doing good in the world.
The SFH Spring / Summer 2016 collection is designed to be a staple in every man and woman’s wardrobe: minimal, essential, and timeless so every individual can build a look according to whatever inspires him or her today. All of the materials are responsibly sourced and ethically manufactured.
“We believe in putting people before profits - after all, businesses exist to serve the people and the world, not the other way around.” Says Raymond Fong.
